Grieving the Death of Someone I Believe is Alive

I saw your jolly face,
It seems like an affair of yesterday.
I remember your smile vividly,
Without it I’ve lived not many a day.

But lo!
And gone
Face bright,
Like Sun
Gone forever.

I stand here dazzled,
I don’t believe in news.
It’s fake of course,
Lord with sorrow my heart sews.

I can’t accept,
But I pray,
Be With Them,
Heavens Await.

I won’t be selfish,
I would think about your well being,
Stay away from this Hell of Clay,
With the Lord, go and Sing.
