Politeness and Gratitude (Paragraph)

on

Politeness is one of the many bonds that tie human beings together. It is the serene attitude of a person towards the people around him/her. Politeness also creates a good impression on the fellow beings around a polite person. Gratitude is the sense of thankfulness to a person who has helped one in times of need. Politeness and gratitude often prove a person as a human being to others. These two qualities also bring out the best in us. We can earn respect from others by being polite and showing a sense of gratitude to others. These virtues create a sense of belonging to a society. If each person is polite to human beings around him/her, then our world can become a better place to live in.

OMG. I LOVE THIS! I always believe in gratitude and trying to be polite. It is hard when others are not polite back, but I try to maintain my politeness anyway. I am a kid’s teacher and I try to teach this to my kids, politeness. Thanks for this.

Yes surely they are. But often teaching politeness and gratitude becomes similar to
“Why is everyone not happy I personally requested you to be?”meme.
I am sure it’s not the case in your class!
I am a student and the society expects me to be polite in all situations even when I am down with feelings. No one seems to care for the insignificant feelings of the teenagers. As a student, you need not express yourself but wish everyone Good Morning with a straight face, to be acceptable in the society!

I remember the days of being a teen in the US back in the 90s. I can relate to your feelings completely. I was glad to be past that stage of being a teen as I was miserable then. My students I teach are 5 to 12 year olds. If they have any issues, I am fine with them telling me or my co-teacher about them. Establishing an environment like that is better.

I am glad I am a teenager. I won’t regret getting stuck here forever. Good teachers like you are very rare nowadays 💯😊
