Mongrels

EVERYDAY THOUSANDS OF MONGRELS ARE BEING KILLED BRUTALLY  JUST TO ENSURE RABIES DOESN’T SPREAD AMONG HUMANS. BUT ISN’T IT CRUEL TO KILL SOMEONE JUST TO ENSURE THAT A DISEASE DOESN’T SPREAD AMONG WE HUMANS. WE NEVER DO THINK THINK ABOUT THE ASPIRATIONS AND MINDSETS ABOUT THE DUMB BEASTS. EVEN BRUTAL THEY ARE NEUTERED OR CASTRATED. JUST TO PUT AN END TO STRAY DOG POPULATION OR PREVENT THEM FROM BREEDING. PUT YOURSELF IN A NEUTERED DOG’S PLACE AND THINK IF YOU WERE STOPPED FROM CONTINUING YOUR BLOODLINES.
THIS MUCH IN THIS POST,
THANKS;

    Killing = bad. Safe spay/neuter = good. Better to control population than to keep killing millions of animals per day solely because there are too many.

      I think other than buying exotic breeds we should adopt street dogs. Better immunity, make do with sub standard food. In Indian villages farmers often tame one dog or an entire pack. And spaying, just think it happening to you…

      Thank you very much for your comment and time! 😄

        I totally agree about adopting strays. All of my pets are strays. But still, there are waay too many cats & dogs. Cats can, and often do, have litters every 4 months… if you do the math, it adds up quickly. Our local animal shelter, which is for just 1 city, kills about 5000 vats per year because no one adopts them. And we’re a low-kill shelter due to all the TNR (trap-neuter-release) work done in our area.

        All my pets, and as many strays as I can catch, are fixed.

        I actually asked to have my tubes tied at a young age but docs refuse cause, “you’re young… you might change your mind.” At 57, I still haven’t changed my mind.
