50+ Followers Special!

I started blogging after a great friend of mine told me about WordPress. She also owns a blog, I am not sure if she will like if I write her blog’s link, so not including it. If she is allowing I will let you know. It is an amazing poetry blog.

I went home from school, and immediately got busy with my laptop. I made a website on WordPress. I started by posting writings about animal cruelty. You are requested to check those if you want to track down my progress. I wrote and wrote to campaign against cruelty towards animals. But, I realized that no one was reading my blog. Still now, not a single school friend of mine has followed me on WordPress except the one whom I mentioned in the first paragraph.

I had seen cooking blogs, book review blogs, photography blogs, poetry blogs. But I decided to do everything. I wanted my audience to get whatever they want. They must have a wide range of choice. Hence the tagline, Anything You Want. Even now, if you want to see me post about something just comment on one of my post. I will do it happily.

I thought that I should expand my domain. I started writing poems. You can of course go to the My Literary Works and Song Diary category to read them.

Then came the breakthrough. I got a follower. I really want to name her, but I respect their privacy, so I won’t. She left blogging recently. Then another follower. She really helped me with the basic stuffs in blogging. She helped me a lot. Thanks. I am not sure if I should use her name again.

Then again my blog was left unattended by people. I was the only one who read my posts. Just imagine the pain, I was writing and no one paid heed to it. Soon, I understood I had to blog for the sake of love of writing not publicity. I wrote and wrote and after a long year I had ten followers.

After that my 9th class started and I had to give up blogging completely. I had to focus on my studies. After that came 10th. Two long years, no post.

After the 10 th final boards exam was done I ran home and started blogging again. Now, I am on a 42 day streak. I post daily. I share every titbit of my teenage life. I started interacting with people, I posted my drawings, photographs of nature, better quotes, and yes it worked. I got you guys, who mean a lot to me. I don’t like to call you Followers, you are my supporters, who inspire me to write continuously. I genuinely started liking blogs and took time to read them and the authors read mine and appreciated them. I am happy now, having 53 great friends.

Each day is bright for me now. I know I am not alone. My love of writing has increased.
