Your Face

It was the darkest hour of the tension,
Don’t know why I was searching for your face,
In the crowd.

A thousand faces could not appease me,
All I needed to forget the nasty crowd,
Was your face.

I did not try to search your face,
Because you are not my life,
I can live without you, but not happily.

Never mind, our faces remained afar,
Yet, our eyes met,
I walked away with my life, you away with yours.

It’s good to see you are having a great life,
How I guessed your life was great?
Don’t ask.

Poignant. I hope whoever you are talking about really has a great life. Good day to you!
